0:00 Hello, my name is Anick de Réland, 0:03 General Manager of Specialist Family and Relationship Services. 0:08 As we come together in prayer today, 0:11 we hold close in our hearts the memories of those 0:15 who have journeyed from this life to the next. 0:19 While we miss their presence, 0:21 we trust in God's love and mercy, 0:23 knowing that He holds them in His eternal care. 0:27 Let us pray for the souls 0:29 of our departed loved ones. 0:32 Let’s Pray. 0:34 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 0:39 Loving Father, 0:41 with hearts full of faith and hope, 0:44 we lift up to You the souls of our loved ones 0:48 who have left this world. 0:51 In Your gentle mercy, 0:53 welcome them into the light of Your presence, 0:56 where they may rest in peace 0:58 and enjoy the fullness of eternal life. 1:03 Forgive them any wrongs they may have done 1:06 and, in Your boundless grace, 1:08 bring them into everlasting joy. 1:12 We also ask You, Lord, 1:14 to comfort those of us who remain, 1:17 especially the families and friends who grieve. 1:21 Give us strength 1:22 and remind us of the hope that we have in Your promise 1:26 that we will one day 1:28 be reunited in Your kingdom of love. 1:32 Through Christ our Lord, 1:35 Amen. 1:37 In times like these, 1:39 we are reminded that love endures 1:41 beyond the boundaries of this life. 1:44 Though we no longer see or hear our loved ones, 1:48 their spirit lives on 1:50 in God's care 1:51 and in the memories that we carry with us. 1:55 As we honour their lives today, 1:58 may we also find peace in the promise of eternal life 2:03 and in the knowledge that, one day, 2:05 we will be together again 2:07 in God’s everlasting presence.
